Making small diaper changes…

Here at changeMatt, we don’t think cloth diapering is an all or nothing endeavour. Do we think cloth diapers rock? Well, yeah but we get the hesitation. We took our time to become 24/7 cloth diaper users. In fact, we sometimes will still use a disposable or hybrids depending on the comfort level of who is caring for our children.

You may have read or heard about how many cloth diapers (at least 12-24) most families have to diaper their child. But to actually get started cloth diapering, you just need one.

Yep, just one. So, buy one. Don’t know what to choose. Just pick one. Think it’s cute? Good enough reason. Does your friend have that one? Sounds good to me. Have you heard of a certain brand? Get it. Wanna play it classic? Get a set of pre-folds and a diaper cover. Place the pre-folds in the cover. Do up said cover. Ta-da! Instant cloth diapering awesomeness. If you have a cloth diapering pal, ask if you can try one of theirs for a few days.  

Whatever your reasoning for trying cloth diapers-financial, health, environmental-heck even, if you were double-dared too, congratulations. By using just one cloth diaper, you took a leap of faith, you made a change. Revel in your own goodness. You cloth diapering superstar!
